We design and build private cinemas in Britain. Single-room dedicated theatres in Bath townhouses. Reference rooms set into Cornish coastal estates. Twenty years of installation craft, a small team, and the discipline to build only what we can build well.
A cinema room is not a piece of equipment. It is a room — built on its acoustics, on the order in which materials meet the air, on what happens to light when the projector is off. We treat it that way. The screen, the speakers, the processor, the control system: these are decisions that get made inside a room scheme, not bolted on after the plasterer has left. That ordering is the difference between a cinema you visit and a cinema you live with.

Process
How we work.
We work in five stages. Each one is honest about how long it takes.

Discovery
A site visit, a conversation about how the room will be used, and a frank conversation about budget.
- 02
Design
Acoustic plan first; equipment specification second; costed scheme third.
- 03
Build
Wet trades, cabling, AV install, integration with lighting and control.
- 04
Calibration
Acoustic calibration, screen and projector alignment, final commissioning.
- 05
Aftercare
The long tail of looking after the room, year on year.
Where we work
The studio is in Bath. We take on cinemas across the South of England — most often in Bath and the Cotswolds, London, Poole and Sandbanks, and Cornwall — and across the drivable South where the brief is right. We will travel further when the project earns the journey. We will not pretend to serve the whole of the UK; the rooms we build are too involved for that to be honest.
